Anti-Bullying Class

10:00 am-11:00am (CST)

This is a 3 week course meeting one time per week.  The class focuses on how difficult it is to be a teenager in today's world without having to deal with the many forms of bullying.  It provides activities for ages 14-18  to help reduce fear, anxiety, stress and other emotions associated with being bullied.

The goal of the class is to help students identify toxic friendships, build self confidence, and understand the importance of asking for help when bullying gets out of control.

This is a free introduction class offered to students in preparation for a Fall 2019 Course (8 weeks).

Anger Management Class

10:00 am-11:00am (CST)

This is a 4 week course meeting one time per week.  The class focuses on helping students understand anger is an emotion that can be managed but first it must be identified.  Students will be able to discuss what triggers their anger and their personal obstacles they need to overcome.

The goal is for students to comprehend the steps they personally go through before reaching the point of an anger outburst.

Students will be given tools to handle anger in their day to day life and gain a deeper understanding of how anger is currently affecting them and those around them.

This class is offered through The School Intervention Plan*.
