Mental Health Awareness
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. It is important to let our students and their parents know it is normal to feel a range of emotions. There are times we will feel sad, mad or even depressed. In the past, there was a stigmatism against talking or even having negative feelings. Today is a new day and we no longer have to be embarressed by what we are feeling. And, when we need assistance with our emotions or our behaviors that sometimes come along with our feelings that is okay too.
