WSA wants to say Happy Holidays!
It has been a very difficult year and we know it. As a gift to you and the students you work with, Well-being Safety Assessments is providing a
free school wellness assessment to every student
This is a trial version allowing you to see how the assessment process works and witness the substantial information gained from this type of screening. It is a great chance to "try-out" the school wellness assessment free of charge while learning key student information.
Our great team of Master's level assessors are ready to help! This assessment is 55 questions in length and will look at 8 targeted areas including anger, depression, substance abuse and COVID-19 challenges. It is an online screening allowing everyone the ability to log-in securely and take the assessment easily. It can be done at school or at home, on phones, tablets, laptops or PCs. Students will answer simple true/false and yes or no questions and also have the ability to type in additional information if they desire. It will take only 20 minutes and is an effective and efficient way of reaching out and helping all students who are struggling.
How does it work?
The WSA assessor will work with your school to set up a date for the assessment and once every student has had the opportunity to be screened, the assessor will gather the information and identify students who have scored in the high risk range for depression/risk of self-harm. Every assessor is a master's level counselor and will make your school's assessments a priority. A confidential/encrypted report will be given to the school administrator only. The assessor will also provide a printable treatment resource packet to share with your students and parents to help direct them to the wellness services available in their area.
This assessment will screen for the 8 targeted areas, however the assessor will only be looking at the depression risk category for this trial version. The school wellness report will only identify these students who are at risk for harming themselves. It will also provide you with three graphs that will look at the percentage of students scoring high-risk in each of the 8 categories.
What if I decide later, I want the complete school wellness report?
After viewing the school wellness report (depression-only), your school will have the ability to purchase the complete school wellness report identifiying all high-risk students in the 8 targeted areas as well as view significant statements made by students pertaining to the welfare of others and to the school. Students will not have to retake a new assessment. Assessors will have all the information they need and will provide a thorough analysis of the data. The complete school wellness assessment will be provided at a discounted rate through January 31, 2021.
** Due to high-levels of interest, WSA may need to schedule assessments past the January 31 deadline, but will continue to offer the discount of the assessment if scheduled prior to this date.
