SEL CLASSES (1).png

Do you have a student needing SEL Classes?

Do you have a student or students who are struggling with anger, anxiety, stress, depression, developing friendships or more?  School Districts and parents do not have time to teach students everything. WSA picks up where Math, Language Arts and History leaves off...  Our counselors teach social and emotional skills online to help every student stay focused in the classroom.  Instructors focus on the 5 core competencies.

  • SEL: Self-Awareness

    • Students will learn how to recognize emotions, thoughts, and values to assess personal strengths and limitations, with a well-grounded sense of confidence, optimism, and a “growth mindset.”

  • SEL: Relationship-Skills

    • Students will learn how to establish and maintain healthy and positive relationships with diverse individuals and groups.  They will be able to communicate clearly, listen intently, cooperate with others, and be able to seek and offer help when needed.

  • SEL: Social-Awareness

    • Students will learn how to empathize with others (youth and adults) to understand social and ethical norms for behavior and to recognize family, school, and community resources and support.

  • SEL: Self-Management

    • Students will learn how to regulate emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in different situations to establish and work toward personal and academic goals.

  • SEL: Responsible Decision-Making

    • Students will learn how to make constructive choices about personal behavior and social interactions based on ethical standards, safety concerns, and social norms.

SEL Courses are taught by qualified professional instructors with a teaching degree or a Master degree in their field and can be purchased individually or through our School District Subscription Plan.  Finally, a way to give students the support they need to do well in the classroom, home and the community.
